Drakes Wharf is in a superb location with restaurants and bars on site. We loved the historical buildings ,there. A great place forwater-sports or just watching the boats and Naval vessels on the River . We left our car in the carpark for the whole week and hopped on the ferries ,from our 'doorstep', over the river to Mount Edgecombe (In Cornwall) for country walks and picnics or over to old Plymouth Harbour (The Barbican) with its bars, restaurants and ancient buildings and, of course, walks on Plymouth Hoe. (And we had,,as usual, to nip into a famous old Gin distillery's bar, for a G&T or cocktail, a 'Must' on our holidays here!) The Apartment was great, modern and clean but would have benefited from each adult having a door-key as access doors need the key fob to gain access to the building. Phil and Sharon were very welcoming and helpful and made our check-in and check-out very easy.
