A lovely stay in lovely apartments. Everything was nice and clean, great ameneties. There was even washing pots and a little bottle of milk ready for us in the fridge!
The views are of course a main attraction! The walk up the hill to the apartment from the centre is fairly steep but that’s why the views are so great! Perfect location nice and close to the harbour and the beach.
Everything was wonderful would definitely recommend :-)

June 2022. We recently stayed Monday to Friday at Astor House, Torquay. We stayed in apartment 2 and wow, what a lovely apartment. The view was absolutely stunning from our apartment. The balcony, albeit small was perfectly adequate to sit out on and have a spot of lunch etc. and take in the views. Everything was spotlessly clean and the apartment was well equipped with all necessities, hair dryer, iron, ironing board, all cooking utensils and even a pint of milk, tea and coffee waiting for your arrival. We really could not fault the accommodation. It's also in a perfect location to walk to the marina, restaurants over to Torre Abbey and close to the bus stops. All in all we had a very comfortable stay and would not hesitate in booking again.

Beautiful apartment, with a stunning view. Balcony is quite small but fine for 2 people. The building and gardens are well looked after and there is everything you need in the apartment. Quite a treck down to the seafront but we were aware of that so not an issue for us. Parking is limited but we had no issues (although June so not high season) Overall, a great apartment in a great location.

Once again, Astor House never fails to please.
Our favourite apartment, no.7 is like home from home and we're loving the new changes that Steve and Cathy have made.
Fantastic views, comfy bed and all that you could wish for in a holiday apartment.
Looking forward now to 2 weeks of being back home, catching up with family and friends, chilling out and enjoying the bay.

A family with a 2 year old and one on the way.
We came to Torquay spontaneously for the weekend and we were not disappointed with the accommodation at Astor House. It was easy to book online via Plum Locations on our travel down. The email was informative letting us know how to access the building and where to retrieve our keys from. Can we just have a moment to discuss the views…. Wow! We didn’t book to stay with a sea view but there is access to Astor House gardens and it was so picturesque and stunning to sit with our 2 year old and soak in the surroundings. Absolutely loved it! Who knew the UK was so beautiful, I certainly do now!
There was a highchair and cot bed outside of our bedroom to use if we needed which is always really helpful when travelling with a little one. Great walking distance to the Torquay sea front and we enjoyed driving to Paignton and Brixham to visit those too. Definitely recommend the accommodation and cannot fault it for the price either. Beautiful and will be telling family/friends and hopefully return in the future once our second little one arrives.
Thank you :)

The view is spectacular and the accommodations - particularly the outdoor relaxation- are lovely. The location is also superb with a beautiful lush walk down to the promenade and beach. Thanks also for the nice amenities (coffee, treats, toiletries). The space is clean and has everything we need!
