Doctor
Please call 111 for all medical advice they will advise you if you need to see a doctor and where the nearest doctor is. In an emergency always call 999.

A&E
An Emergency Department is located at Derriford Hospital and is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for anyone seeking healthcare for an urgent medical problem related to an accident or illness. It is a walk-in service so you do not need an appointment.

Minor Injuries Unit
Plymouth’s minor injuries unit is based at the Cumberland Centre, Damerel Close, Devonport. No appointment is necessary. Patients are seen on a first come first served basis. The Cumberland Centre is open 7 days a week (including Bank Holidays) from 9am to 5.30pm. For further information call the MIU on 0845 155 8003.

Dentist
Dental treatment for unregistered patients is available at Plymouth’s Dental Access Centre. Telephone: 0845 155 8070 for an appointment.

Local Shops

There is a Co-op on the Barbican and a Tesco Express nearby. There is an Aldi and a Lidl nearby as you turn out into Union Street taking you back towards the City Centre, and a large Sainsburys if you follow the Exeter signs.
