One parking space is included in your stay. There are indicated areas for guest parking on the Royal William Yard (see map).
Access to the apartment is by meet and greet arranged with the Property Manager. They will provide the keys/fobs to your apartment and if lost there is a significant charge to replace them.
Smoke alarms and fire blankets are provided for your safety. Please only use the safety equipment with the safety of you and your guests as a priority. Call the Fire Brigade 999 if you are aware of a fire and cant hear the alarms. If you hear a fire alarm please leave your apartment immediately via your safest exit and assemble outside on the road by the building. Please only re-enter the building once declared safe to do so by the Fire Brigade.
Check in is at 3pm. Apartments must be vacated by 10am on the morning of departure unless alternative arrangements have been booked. Guests who arrive earlier or leave later, than the above agreed time, will be subject to a charge of £20 per hour for each full hour up to three hours either side, outside of this timeframe the daily charge will be made.
Please ensure you take all your personal belongings with you upon check out and if you leave anything and wish for it to be sent back there is a charge and we can accept no responsibility of returned items.
We welcome you with a hospitality tray with a basic selection of hot drinks and biscuits, toiletries and kitchen essentials for your convenience. As we are a self catering facility we provide enough provisions to last you for your first 24 hours with us, after this time you will need to provide anything else you require.
We do hope that you find your apartment cleaned to a very high standard with everything working and available. However, if you do experience any problems on arrival, or during your stay, it is very important you let the Property Manager Phil (07792 707560) know straight away so that we can take immediate steps to put it right. It is not possible to properly address any complaints of this nature after departure. Should anything get broken during your stay please also let us know so that we can ensure it is replaced for the next guests. It is also expected that you leave your apartment in a reasonable condition (ie: dishes washed, rubbish in bins and bins put outside). Failure to do so will result in extra cleaning time being required and this maybe chargeable to you.
Please note that no wet wipes, nappies or sanitary products can be put down the toilets. Putting anything down apart from toilet paper may cause an immediate blockage.
Cots, high chairs and/or Z beds and bedding will have been put in the apartment if pre-booked. Please note we do not provide cot bedding.
These will be left for you if booked – please use the mattress protector supplied.
If you wish to use the washing machines with dryers, please put no more than half a washing load to dry as otherwise the electricity may trip out and there is a breakdown of risk. Apartments are also equipped with drying racks.
6 and 15 Mills Bakery are on their own all electric heating and hot water system. This is controlled by a SMART thermostat programmed for your comfort and can be boosted for 2 hours.
10 Clarence is part of a communal system to the whole building and can be controlled via the radiators.
We want you to be comfortable during your stay. The heating is controllable for your comfort. However, our business is also fully committed to our sustainability principles, and for this reason we would ask you to help us reduce our carbon footprint by observing the following:
Many thanks for your cooperation with this. We do our best to minimise the carbon consumption of the business, to save your potential overuse charges and also for environmental reasons.
To dispose of refuse bags at 10 Clarence – Turn right out of the main doors and continue to brown doors in separate building at end. The key code to enter this area is C1234 where there are lots of bins for every sort of rubbish!
Refuse from 6 and 15 Mills can be deposited in a waste chute by the stairs off the main lobby.
Please check in the kitchen drawer where you will find instructions for appliances and a list which details the location of your fire blanket/fire extinguishers, first aid kit, water stop clock & electricity mains.
