Public Transport

Torquay train station is a few minutes walk from Astor House, as you descend Shedden Hill turn right and cross Torre Abbey Green towards the train station. Buses run along the esplanade to Brixham and Paignton regularly. There are bus stops for most buses that take you further afield to be found on Torquay harbourside.

Shops can be found in the main town centre a few minutes walk via Rock Walk at the bottom of the garden.

There is a Tesco Metro nearby at the right hand end of Abbey Road. The “Willows” with Marks and Spencer and Sainsbury’s is near Lawes Bridge on the road to Newton Abbot. There is also an Asda and Lidl in Torquay.
