Please contact our Property Manager Karen ([email protected] +33 6 71 91 65 15 whatsapp preferred) your contact in Nice a few days before you leave to confirm your flight arrival time and to arrange your meet and greet. There may be a small charge for late arrivals after 9pm.
We do hope that you find everything working, however if you do experience any problems during your stay please do let Karen know so that she can put it right for you. Should anything get broken during your stay please let us know so that it can be replaced for the next guests. Please note we cannot accept complaints made about the property after departure.
The key to the apartment costs €100 to cut and have to be sent to Paris for cutting as it is a security door, please do not lose them! We will have to charge if they are lost.
There is a pay as you go underground car park at the Place du Palais, the entrance is on Rue Alexandre Mari. There is also one on the Cours Saleya, the entrance is on Rue Saint François de Paule. Go to www.plan-nice.org for a map of all car parks in Nice. Free parking in Nice can be difficult to find and public transport is very good so we find it better not to bring the car!
It can be windy on occasion in Nice, particularly with the Mistral so please do ensure windows are secured whilst you are out during any winds so they do not slam shut and crack. During hot periods you will notice that the Nicoise keep their shutters closed and windows just open secured on the latch during the day to keep rooms cool and in shade. They often open the lower shutter door for airflow. This also applies at night when in the heat you may wish to have windows open but the shutters shut.
Air conditioning is not generally permitted in apartments in the old town but we have installed ceiling mounted whisper fans with lights which are very effective at keeping the room cooler.
We have an internet based TV service that provides a wide range of European channels including Sky, BT and Setanta. This is operated with the black remote control after switching to SAT on the TV.
Please note that no wet wipes or sanitary products can be put down the toilets which feed into septic tanks. Putting anything down apart from toilet paper may cause blockages.
All control instructions can be found in a labelled box on the hallway shelf.
A fire blanket is located in the kitchen and there are smoke alarms in key positions.
Parties and noise disturbances are not permitted at any time to ensure the quiet enjoyment of other guests and residents. Young non family groups, hen and stag parties are not permitted. See terms and conditions for minimum charges for any breach, please note any breach of these conditions may also result in you being asked to leave without a refund. These apartments are strictly no smoking and smoking is only permitted on balconies. There will be a charge made if there is a smell of smoke in apartments on departure. Pets are not permitted.
The apartment must be vacated by 10am on the morning of departure unless alternative arrangements have been made. Please leave it clean and tidy and rubbish put in the bins area (see below). Please remember to leave the apartment keys in your apartment on the dining table and close the door behind you.
If you turn right on leaving the apartment and then immediately left the bin area is just on the right; set in a building with a blue light at the door. It is cleared daily.
