The River Shack

The River Shack, Stoke Gabriel
The River Shack is an idyllic café situated on the millpond, just off the River Dart in Stoke Gabriel. This is a peaceful spot to enjoy a morning coffee and homemade cake, or reserve a spot for dinner and enjoy one of their fantastic burgers (the chorizo jam filling is a big yes from us). With a log burner, pizza oven and crepe maker, there is something for the whole family, be it after a village walk or day of crabbing!
Guardhouse Café

Berry Head, Brixham
Perched on Berry Head, a renowned dolphin watching spot in the bay, you can combine visiting the Guardhouse café with a coastal walk around the headland. Enjoy the panoramic coastal views, dog-friendly owners and a no-fuss but tasty full English breakfast to start your day in the best way!

The Ferry Inn is a pub and restaurant perched on the estuary, with a picturesque marquee and unrivaled views. As pub gardens go, they don’t get better than this. Watch the sunset from the terrace while tucking into a fresh ship and chips with a local pint or G&T. Bliss!
