Smoking

These apartments are strictly no smoking and smoking is only permitted outside. There will be a charge made if there is a smell of smoke in apartments on departure. Please use the two wall mounted ashtrays in the courtyard for those wishing to smoke outside.

Pets

We are a pet friendly establishment and well behaved dogs are permitted in apartment numbers 10, 10a, 12, 13, 15, 30 & 34. Dog beds and bowls are available on request. Please follow our dog etiquette – do not allow dogs on the bed or sofa, without using the throws provided. Please hoover where necessary and please clean up after your dog using the bins provided. If any accident occurs within the apartment please advise us as soon as possible so these can be cleaned professionally.

Heating

Most apartments have gas combi boilers except for Nos 10a, 30, 32 and 34 which are all electric. Please check the boiler settings on arrival: off/hot water only/hot water and heating and you can adjust the radiators to your own preference. The pressure occasionally drops which you can see when the boiler dial drops to 0. The boiler can be re-pressurised by opening the tap to the silver pipe underneath the boiler for a very short while until the pressure increases to 1 or call the Housekeeper for assistance.

You can check whether the hot water is on when you arrive on the tank usually in the airing cupboard. Radiators are controlled individually using the dial to turn on and off and change the temperature.
